Wesley College Melbourne is a coeducational, open-entry school of the Uniting Church with a rich
tradition and a liberal, broadly based curriculum. Opened on 18 January 1866, Wesley has enriched
the lives of thousands of young people for over 150 years.

In addition, the Year 9 residential program
operates in Clunes, and there are three
outdoor education camps in Victoria, near

the Yiramalay/Wesley Studio School.
Wesley College is one of the top
International Baccalaureate Schools
in Australia, offering a wide range of
academic choices for senior students (see
Curriculum). Students from all backgrounds,
countries, religions and cultures study at
Wesley because of our excellent educational
reputation, facilities and student support.
Graduating students move on with much
more than an ATAR score --- each has been
encouraged to aspire to achieve excellence
and personal best in all areas of endeavour.
The majority of students are offered a
place at either The University of Melbourne
or Monash University. Students applying
to study at The University of Melbourne
may receive preferential entry, through the
Melbourne Schools Partnership International,
of which Wesley College is a member.

In Years 9 and 10, the curriculum enables

Wesley College has a wide range of
co-curricular programs to support students'
learning, including performing and visual
arts programs, sport, social service and
outdoor education programs.
Past students include two Prime Ministers,
21 politicians, a Nobel Laureate, 33 Olympic
athletes, 13 Rhodes Scholars, five Supreme
Court judges, one High Court judge, plus
many other prominent Australian figures.
